Timba-Timba Island is part of the Semporna Archipelago, nestled between Mataking Island to the right and Kulapuan Island to the left, with Pom Pom and Pandanan Islands up north. It’s a short boat ride from Semporna.

The island’s main highlight is its long, picturesque sand cay, similar to Mataking’s. This stretch of pristine white sand, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters, is perfect for leisurely strolls, sunbathing, and breathtaking views.

Things to do

Pulau Timba Timba offers excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities with its clear waters and diverse marine life, including colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, turtles, and rays. High visibility makes it ideal for underwater photography.

Besides diving and snorkeling, visitors can enjoy beachcombing and picnicking on the sand cay. The island features a jetty with several wooden gazebos, providing perfect spots for picnics and relaxation.

Reachable by boat from Semporna, many dive operators offer day trips to Pulau Timba Timba as part of island-hopping and diving packages. The journey typically takes 45 minutes.
