Borneo Divers Mabul Resort

Established in the 1980s, Borneo Divers Mabul Resort is one of the first dive operators to set up on the island.

The Borneo Divers Mabul Resort complex consists of 30 tropical-themed beachside chalets comprising 20 twin rooms and 10 king rooms.

Each chalet is comfortably furnished with amenities including air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with hot shower, dressing table and a private veranda.

As pioneers in dive operations along both the east and west coasts of Sabah, the establishment takes immense pride in its PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Mabul.

This center offers some of the best training and diving facilities on the island and is staffed by a team of PADI professionals, ranging from Divemasters to Course Directors (the highest accolade available within PADI).

In terms of dive sites, the resort has its own house reef called Paradise 2 near their private jetty, filled with precious underwater treasures awaiting discovery.

After a day of diving, book a spa treatment, massage, manicure or reflexology session at the beach side gazebo or in the privacy of your own room.

Borneo Divers Mabul Resort is also well-known for its projects, commitments and support towards sea turtle research and conservation, frequently working together with the University Of Sabah, Malaysia as well as other environmental agencies.

Each year the resort plays host to two turtle conservation programs called Mabul Turtle Day in the month of May, and Borneo Divers’ Celebration of Sea Turtles in Mabul, which is held towards the year end in November. All in-house guests and interested parties are invited to take part.
